Adapted for Secondary Cycle One, students will learn what causes meteor showers, aurora borealis, eclipses, and more.

All in a 360° immersive planetarium experience that students absolutely love.

Show Outline

  • students enter the dome and see a daytime sky
  • the Earth rotates, the Sun sets, and the stars begin to appear
  • students will see the stars appear and we'll learn about constellations
  • display meteors passing flying over the night sky
  • go up into space to see the Earth
  • learn why the tilt of the Earth causes seasons
  • learn why comet trail debris causes meteor showers
  • show Aurora Borealis and how this is caused by the Sun and the Earth's magnetic field
  • show how lunar eclipses and solar eclipses occur
  • zoom out to show the scale of the Solar System, the Milky Way, and nearby galaxies
  • return back home to Earth
  • students exit the dome
