An immersive intro to the stars and the night sky

Adapted for Preschool and Elementary Cycle One, young students will learn about the stars, the shapes they make in the sky, and the day-night cycle of Earth.

All in a 360° immersive planetarium experience that students absolutely love.

Show Outline

  • students enter the dome and see a daytime sky
  • the Earth rotates, the Sun sets, and the stars begin to appear
  • students will see the stars appear to make shapes and animals
  • we see the movement of the sky during the night until the Sun rises in the morning
  • ask the students: why do we have night and day?
  • we take a rocket up into space and see the Earth as the astronauts see it
  • zoom out to see the entire Earth
  • show how the Earth rotates, how the Sun's light shines on our planet causing day and night
  • we return back home to Earth
  • students exit the dome
