Solar Eclipse

June 10

What We'll See

Two weeks after the Full Moon, a New Moon rises again in the East, but now rises at same time the Sun does. On this date, the Moon lines up with the Sun – partially blocking it – and when viewed with solar eclipse viewing glasses, the Sun appears as a crescent as it climbs over Montréal.

How to See It

  • When: June 10, 2021 - 5:05 AM
  • Where: Belvédère Kondiaronk (Mount Royal Chalet)
